Wood County Sheriff's deputies confirm minor injuries were reported after a car flipped into a ravine in Williamstown on Friday afternoon.
It happened on Williamstown Pike/ Route 31 just past the airport.
Deputies say the car drove off the right side of the roadway, spun, went over an embankment before overturning into a creek . The car came to rest on it's top.
Both people in the car were able to climb out with help from residents in a nearby home. They were taken to Marietta Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The car hit a gas line causing damage to it. Deputies say Dominon Hope Gas Co responded and repaired the line.
