A head-on collision between a car and four wheeler sends one to the hospital with serious injuries.
It happened a little after 6 o'clock Sunday night on Laurel Creek Road.
Officials say the four wheeler was going westbound when it collided head-on with a car. No one in the car was hurt.
The driver of the four wheeler was taken by helicopter to an area hospital. Their condition is unknown.
Authorities urge precaution when driving ATVs.
"It's always recommended to wear your helmet. And just be safe. Just be safe," says West Virginia State Trooper First Class A.D. Wootton.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
