Saturday marked the opening of the Ohio River Museum and what better way to celebrate it by having an Easter egg hunt.

The museum held it's second annual Carp Egg Hunt for the kids outside.

Over 200 eggs were laid out and the kids wasted no time filling up their baskets.

Volunteers of the Ohio River Museum donated the eggs and candy.

Two lucky kids who picked up an egg with a note inside saying they won a prize, received a fishing pole and tackle box.

"Well, it's very important to us because the community has been very supportive of our museums and they have done an awful lot to keep us open and this is just our way of saying thanks and giving back," says Education and Program Director, Glenna Hoff.

The kids also got to enjoy some fun activities inside the museum immediately after the egg hunt.
