Some scammers crashed the Williamstown Relay For Life event causing the Williamstown Police to step in.

Officers say two men, 26-year-old Matthew Schreiner from Grand Island, New York and 37-year-old Daryl Pachulski out of West Seneca, New York were selling raffle tickets and t-shirts.

The event coordinator discovered that the men were at several other Relay For Life functions across the northeast and never returned the money.

After accusing Schreiner and Pachulski of running a scam, officers asked them to return the money and leave Tomlinson Park.

No arrest or charges were filed at this time.

However, the police will seek warrants for their arrest if they do return to West Virginia.
