Overgrown with weeds and shrubs.

Turning a long lost playground into a castle.

Volunteers from the New Harvest Community Church pick projects around the area that they believe are in dire need of repair.

Member Dale McEwuen says Jefferson Elementary playground stood out.

It used to be a jewel of the neighborhood but due to misuse, had to be shutdown.

"We're going to work along with the Good Sheppard Church and try to form a partnership there and local civic groups and try to get it open in the evenings so that folks can come and enjoy it in the evenings with some minor supervision," he says.

Trimming, new paint, mulch and much needed maintenance.

The church plans for a revivalization with the help of Jefferson Elementary.
