Some important information for people in Marietta.

Friday afternoon city offices won't have access to city computer systems.

Due to the city hall renovation, computer systems will shut down beginning at noon.

So if you plan to file taxes Friday, your records will not be accessible.

Also, you'll need to bring your water bill with you in order to pay it.

And not all birth and death certificates will be available.

"We are actually moving the server room this weekend. So it's part of the renovation. One of the new rooms upstairs is the server room. It's moving from 304 to 301 so we actually have to take all the systems down and move them across the street," says Amy Tucker, wired and wireless network administrator for the city.

So if you have business to take care of you'll have to do it before noon Friday or wait until Monday.
