A lot of homes are decorated for the holidays.
Among them is a major Wood County tourist attraction.
Henderson Hall is open to the public each Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon, this weekend and next, displaying its holiday decorations.
Michael Ralston, the last person to actually live in the historic Boaz mansion, did so much holiday decorating, he kept the display up year-round.
"He decorated everything in the mansion with some kind of trinket for Christmas," current director Dave McKain recalls. "We try to make it look nice, but we don't go to that extent."
In addition to the holiday displays, a just-completed movie is being shown, outlining the history of the 1800's mansion.
Thanks to publicity in northeast Ohio, visitors from as far as the Cleveland area have viewed Henderson, which is located just off route 14.
