The Wood County Habitat for Humanity organization hosted its inaugural Destination Design event Thursday evening.

Local vendors came out to the Grand Pointe Conference and Reception Center in Vienna displaying their items, giving people ideas on how to design every room in the house.

An auction also took place where nearly 50 items were being bidded.

Whether you're looking to help support the Habitat for Humanity or to get some home designing ideas, the event is a very good cause.

"We really appreciate the connection that all the things are basically decorating ideas or furniture or things like that and so we felt like it was important to try to make our fundraiser to come match with what we are doing," says Wood County Habitat for Humanity Executive Director, Alvin Phillips.

All proceeds will go to the Habitat for Humanities as they continue building homes for needy families.
