A Doddridge County man and his son both ended up behind bars over the weekend.
Authorities arrested 49-year-old James Hughes and his son, 21-year-old Steven Hughes Saturday night.
Investigators say James Hughes is a convicted felon who they caught carrying a firearm.
He's in the North Central Regional Jail.
His son, Steven was also taken to the jail after West Union police say he hit two people with his vehicle on New York Avenue.
That man and woman were hospitalized.
Fortunately, they're okay.
The younger Hughes was released after posting bond.
