It happened at about 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon near the Route 47 off ramp on Route 50.

Deputies say a man driving this bronze SUV and his passenger were traveling east on Route 50. The two were distracted and the driver swerved to avoid hitting another car.

The SUV then crossed the median into oncoming traffic, flipped several times, and landed on its top. The driver was ejected before the SUV came to a stop.

The passenger was treated on scene. Officials say the driver was conscious and talking before he was taken to Camden Clark Medical Center.

No word on his condition.

Wood County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
