FAIRMONT, W.Va. (AP) - A former North Marion High School cheerleading coach who pleaded guilty to sexually abusing male students will spend 12 years on home confinement.

Marion County Circuit Judge David Janes also ordered Amanda Barker on Monday to register as a sex offender.

She got 10 years for two counts of sexual abuse by a parent or guardian and two years for soliciting a minor via computer.

WBOY-TV says the 31-year-old Mannington resident also must go through a treatment program. If she violates any conditions of home detention, she could be jailed.

Barker was arrested in December 2012 for abusing a 16-year-old. Two other boys later came forward with accusations.

One boy told police Barker had oral sex with him in her home, after her husband and children went to bed.
