Seems like school just let out for the summer.
But one local credit union is prepping for next school year.
The West Virginia Central Credit Union kicked off its annual Stuff the Bus campaign Wednesday afternoon.
They have a full size school bus outside of the building where people can drop off supplies to help students in need start the school year right.
Coordinator, Lisa Collins, says she received some responses from teachers and the supplies they are needing for their classrooms.
"Well it's really important to us as a credit union to not only educate kids about finances and how to manage money but to make sure they have access to the best possible education because obviously that's what our future is all about. These are the kids who are going to be taking of us when we're a little older," says Collins.
Supplies like crayons, pencils, and rulers are in high demand...but backpacks, lunchboxes and notebooks are important donations, too.
The Stuff the Bus campaign lasts until July 30th.
