A Williamstown home goes up in flames.
Firefighters fight the fire for over four hours.
Officials say the call came just before 2:30 Thursday morning at north Oak Grove Road.
A house totally engulfed in flames miles away from town.
It was a challenge for firefighters as they struggled to get water to the house.
The Williamstown, Waverly and Vienna Volunteer Fire Departments all responded.
The family was not hurt.
Firefighters saved most of the family pets, while some were lost.
Paul Jordan of the Williamstown Volunteer Fire Department suspects the cause of the fire was a result of a problem in the chimney area.
The fire was contained to the attic but the house did suffer severe water damage.

A Williamstown home goes up in flames Thursday morning, requiring three fire departments to extinguish the fire.
Authorities say the fire started just before 2:30 a.m. at 2161 North Oak Grove Road.
Located on a one lane road, firetrucks were required to drive in reverse in order to gain access to the house.
The Wood County Sheriff's Department says no one was harmed in the blaze.
Firefighters battled the flames for over three hours.
The house is likely a total loss.
The cause remains under investigation.
The Williamstown Volunteer Fire Department, Waverly Volunteer Fire Department and Vienna Volunteer Fire Department all assisted in putting out the fire.
The Division of Highways was also called onto the scene after water used to put out the flames froze on the roadway.
Volunteer Fire Departments are responding to a fully engulfed house fire.
The call came in a little after 2 AM to 2161 North Oak Grove Rd.
The Wood County Sheriff's Office says no one is hurt.
