An early morning house fire in Meigs County leaves one family with nothing.
Just after 3:00 Monday morning a home on Main Street in Tuppers Plains was completely destroyed by what is believed to be an electrical fire.
David and Brandy Rankin were out of town when the fire happened, along with their daughter, dog and cat.
The two of them serve on the Tuppers Plains Volunteer Fire Department just a few feet from their home and know that their fellow firefighters did all they could to save it.
Brandy says she's just thankful that her family is safe and that all of their material things can be replaced.
