With Valentine's Day fast approaching florists all over are getting ready for their busiest day of the year.

At Crown Florals in Parkersburg the pre-orders have been coming in for days and the employees sure have their work cut out for them.

But owner Keith McClung says they are prepared for the masses after last year's successful sales.

And he also says people are doing something new this year - having their orders delivered a day early.

But no worries for those who wait until the last minute.

"Anybody is welcome to walk into our doors. Valentines day, call, whatever you need to do. We're going to get you taken care of. If we have a flower in the house our designers are going to arrange it you're not going to leave here empty handed. So everything from flowers to stuffed bears to chocolates to gifts. If you come in our doors we're going to find something for you to take home to your loved one for Valentine's Day," he says.

Although roses are the most popular flower for Valentine's Day, McClung says he sees quite a variety of different flowers and plants being ordered this year.
