The Greater Parkersburg Convention and Visitors Bureau 2013 Visitor's Guide is now available in January.
The 72-paged guide is packed with key information on major attractions, events and travel details across the region.
On the front cover you will see Henderson Hall Plantation in Williamstown.
It's the bureau's way of paying tribute to the area's role in the statehood movement.
The visitor's guide is reaching out not only to Parkersburg and West Virginia but also to neighboring states.
"When we get the guides, we send them out to all of the various rest areas and welcome centers throughout the state, as well as the other conventions and visitor's bureaus. Pretty much anywhere people could pick up information on tourism in West Virginia, we want them to have our guide," says Mark Lewis of the Greater Parkersburg Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Chapman Printing of Parkersburg produced the visitor's guide.
West Virginia will celebrate its 150th anniversary as a state on June 20th.
