The fight to keep drugs out of the Mid-Ohio valley continues. This time, by helicopter.
The Washington County Major Crimes Task Force was out today on land and in the air, with the help of the Wood County and an ODOT helicopter.
They're looking for marijuana grow operations in the county.
It's called eradication and the task force does this periodically.
Today the force was following up on leads throughout the county.
Sgt. Scott Parks says this time of year people will bring their plants out for sunlight and by helicopter they're easier to spot.
