They strive to improve the lives of children here at home and teach them to make the world a better place.

Saturday, the Hole-in-One 5K Run/Walk will raise money to benefit them.

Gandee Licklider from The Fountain Foundation says the Women's Association at Marietta Country Club was nice enough to help them put together the event and have it on their grounds.

She says if you haven't seen the back nine, it's a beautiful place and worth doing the walk.

"Our focus is usually for children in our community; we have a group that we're working with called the 'Reality Cafe'," she says. "Tracy Huck, who is putting that on, is starting a program for at-risk girls that are in sixth grade."

Licklider says it's more of a mentoring program, so Huck will be raising scholarship money for that.
