Holiday In The Park Gets People Excited For The Holidays

The annual "Holiday in the Park" brings the community together to enjoy the rainbow colored lights sponsored by area business, organizations and churches.

It's a friendly reminder for everyone to get into the holiday spirit and decorate their houses with Christmas decorations.

We talked to some people Sunday about their thoughts on the lighting displays this year.

"Well, I think they're pretty nice, I'll take it's probably good for the community and everybody wish they had a good time with it," says James Wallace.

"I love the Holiday in the Park festival. I loved that it mixes certainly christian values with some churches and other displays," Susan Lamp added.

"Well, I think they're really cool because I love seeing all the bright colors around everywhere and I think it's fun on Christmas," Kenneth Johnson said.

"I think it's great for the community. I think it's just another thing to get people out and appreciate the park," says Doug Klein.

The last day to see displays at the "Holiday in the Park" is New Years Eve.
