House Fire on 7th Street and Park Avenue

Parkersburg firefighters were on the scene of a house fire near City Park from 11 last night until 2 this morning.

Although neighbors initially reported a man lives in the home, firefighters say they've determined no one lives there.

The home was filled with antiques and other flammable items, according to firefighters.

The cause of the fire hasn't been determined.

The incident is under investigation
The fire broke out at around 11 Tuesday night at 7th Street and Park Avenue.

Neighbors first noticed a lot of smoke coming from the home.

Parkersburg firefighters were able to put out the fire, but there's still heavy smoke. Investigators say they don't know what caused the fire, but it looks to have started at the back of the house.

Neighbors say a man lives there. Firefighters haven't been able to find or get a hold of anyone at this point.
