Fresh out of jail, two inmates find themselves right back behind bars.
Police say they walked out the doors of the West Central Regional Jail, and stole an employees car.
Michael Sharp and Amanda Clendenning are now back in jail.
It all happened at about 6:00 Wednesday night. Sharp and Clendenning drove the stolen car to Ritchie County. That's where a state trooper and a ritchie county deputy tried to pull them over.
They slammed in to deputy Jim Asbury's cruiser at the intersection of route 74 and Myles Avenue.
All three were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Sharp and Clendenning are back where the started: at the regional jail.
