For more than thirty years, she's been enriching the lives of our littlest learners. It's her dedication to the job that earned Mrs. Marjorie Edwards the Jan Dils Golden Apple Award for the month of October.
Mrs. Edwards teaches kindergarten at Criss Elementary in Parkersburg.
The Jan Dils Golden Apple team surprised her Tuesday afternoon with a celebration and the students went wild when they found out she was this month's winner.
Her family says she was made for this job and goes above and beyond the call of duty every day.
Mrs. Edwards tells us the students make it all worth while.
"They are really the most fun age group in the world, kindergarten students. They are excited about learning, and so much fun to work with. Watching them learn is what I love most about my job and having fun with them," says Mrs. Edwards.
