It's the job search version of "speed dating".
A different kind of job fair Wednesday at WVU-P.
This job seeking skills event showed people entering the workforce what the process is like.
There were several sessions, each lasting exactly 20 minutes.
The event coordinator is a former WVU-P student.
She says it's important students know ahead of time what it's like to interview.
"I didn't realize these were things I needed. It takes about five years after you get out of school, and you realize you need to brush up on these skills," says Jennifer Randolph, career services coordinator. "You take things like dining etiquette for granted, and you think you know, but you don't. So this is a good thing for us."
Businesses such as United Bank took part in the event.
There were even booths where you could get your picture taken for social networking services such as LinkedIn.
