Jackson County, WV - West Virginia Division of Highways announces that the I-77 Ripley I/C Bridge, located at milepost 137.89, will be subject to a bridge inspection on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, and Wednesday, November 28, 2012 according to Cliff Essig, District Three Bridge Engineer.
Single lane closures on US 33, underneath the I-77 Ripley I/C Bridge, will allow bridge crews to inspect the bridge during the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Flagging personnel will be present on US 33. to maintain two-way traffic.
Motorists traveling on I-77 should not experience any significant delays. However, those on US 33 will experience significant delays and should seek alternate routes. All motorists should reduce their speed, follow the direction of traffic control, and use caution through the work zone. Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change or extend the schedule.
