Local musicians lit up Point Park.

It was a diverse group of rock, rap, even acoustic.

The bands all had one thing in common: they were there to spread their faith.

The concert at point park was free, but many guests gave donations.

All of the money collected will go toward the Latrobe Street Mission in Parkersburg.

The bands said it was great to see their music help others.

"All it takes is one," said Jodi Lee of the band "Elevate Nation".

" If we can get to one of these hearts out here, one of these walls to fall down, they'll start spreading it themselves. Once the gospel in in you, once Jesus lives in you, you can't help but tell the world about what he's done in your life."

The Latrobe Street Mission opened recently as a place where homeless and struggling addicts can get some help.

Many community businesses pitched in as well to help with the cause.

Organizer Mel Mendoza said he hopes this concert will be the first of many.
