Ten years and 7 months in prison.

It's the sentence for a former Wisconsin man prosecutors say went on a breaking and entering spree in Washington County.

Michael Jazdzewski was indicted on 26 counts of breaking and entering or theft.

A jury convicted him on 16 counts.

Jazdzewski was sentenced to six years for engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and four years and seven months for the break-ins.

"Once we got a hold of the one individual that was the cooperating witness, we were able to piece information that they provided with stuff we saw at either the crime scenes, we were able to recover a couple of safes also, that were taken from the businesses," says Craig Brockmeier, with the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

Jazdzewski will also be tried for charges in Athens County.

Brockmeier says this was a large scale investigation with months of research and multiple agencies.

A man police say is a suspect in multiple breaking and enterings throughout 2012 is found in Wisconsin.

Marietta Police and Washington County Deputies bring Michael Jazdzewski back for breaking and entering.

Police say he broke into Dairy Queen in April of 2012 and stole cash.

He was previously charged with breaking into a Family Dollar in Coolville in August of 2012.

Police say they are still looking into him as a main suspect in other breaking and enterings.
