Nine months later, the American Legion finally receives closure.
Randy Messer was found guilty Monday regarding the break in at the American Legion Post 64 in Marietta back in May.
Messer admitted to tampering with evidence in the case and hiding it from police when questioned.
He previously pleaded not guilty but changed his plea and was found guilty on fifth degree felony charges.
Messer was sentenced to 11 months in prison with credit for 130 days.
