A bar fight turned into a life threatening situation over the weekend.
Parkersburg Police arrested 30-year-old Jacob Nehemiah Evans Saturday morning.
Witnesses tell police Evans put 27-year-old Christopher Grinter in the hospital, just hours before, when he stabbed him repeatedly.
Police say it began at the Nip N Cue bar on 19th Street where Evans works.
He was fighting with Grinter inside the building, they were separated, but Evans then followed him home to a house on Covert Street where the stabbing happened.
Grinter was in serious condition at Camden Clark Medical Center Saturday.
Officials tell us his condition is improving.
As for Evans, he's charged with malicious wounding and could face up to 10 years in prison.
