The police pool party packed the Marietta aquatic center this morning.
Kids came from all over, lining up at the door waiting to meet police dogs, play on blow up slides and win prizes from the Marietta Police Department.
Raffle tickets at the door gave kids a chance to win toys and even bikes.
Officers say the party is a way for kids to get to know them outside of their job.
Officer Dianna Hively says the party has been very successful in the past and donations piled in this year so the kids could have a great time.
"Hopefully to understand that we are there for them, and it's a fun way for them to get to know us, not just in our line of duty," said Marietta Police Officer Dianna Hivley.
"Super fun!" said Rylea Durham, Marietta resident.
"Just getting outside of the house instead of inside playing games, getting outside of the house and having fun with friends," said Nathan Morris, Marietta resident.
Officers say they look forward to this every year.
