Those planning on visiting Marietta soon, don't have look very far to learn more about the latest attractions throughout the city.
The Marietta-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau had an open house Thursday evening at its newest location downtown on Greene Street.
The new location will help staff members collectively promote the city as a distinctive destination.
"Greene Street is really kind of a gateway towards our downtown community. So being right on and kind of being the front line of the conversation as opposed to the end of the conversation is really helping us with visitor traffic and being able to get the word out about Marietta," says Marietta-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau Public Relations and Social Media Coordinator, Casey Knowlton.
Those visiting the new CVB location enjoyed free refreshments and got to know staff members working at the facility.
