The bridge connecting Williamstown and Marietta on I-77 was completely shut down Wednesday night after a multi vehicle accident involving a semi truck.
We're told the semi was leaking oil onto the roadway and there was a concern over ice on the bridge.
Authorities say it involved several vehicles and shut down travel in the northbound lanes for about two hours
It's currently back open.
Several people were taken to the hospital, however, we do not know the extent of their injuries.
Shortly after this wreck, another crash happened near the Williamstown exit.
It also involved a semi-truck and another vehicle.
Williamstown and Marietta Fire Departments along with St. Joe Ambulance Service and Wood County Emergency Service were on hand assisting the accidents.
The crash is still under investigation by the Wood County Sheriff's Office.
