The Marietta Middle and High School Football Teams took a break from the field Friday evening to put on a summer concert series for a cause.
It was all part of the third annual Music on the Levee concert series.
Local entertainers give live performances every Friday and Saturday night.
The football teams along with the Marietta Touchdown Club help serve refreshments.
All proceeds benefit both teams as they gear up for their upcoming seasons.
"This way, they get to communicate with people, they learn business skills, they learn how to run a business, they learn the different components and they also learn how important it is to give back to their community," says Kreamy Kreations Manager, Liz Ford.
If you missed out on tonight's performance, the Music on the Levee will continue throughout the summer until September 21st.
The concert is every Friday and Saturday starting at 7pm at the Kreamy Kreations across from the Lafayette Hotel in Marietta.
Local performers play various genres such as gospel, country and oldies.
The touchdown club is still taking donations for the football teams.
For more information on the concert series or how to donate, please contact Kreamy Kreations Manager, Liz Ford, at 740-538-4152.
