Fire at Vacant House Two Nights in a Row

For the second night in a row, Parkersburg firefighters are responding to a fire at a vacant house at 13 1/2 and Spring Streets.

This time, they say it has been destroyed.

Flames were showing when firefighters arrived around midnight.

Firefighters found a bottle filled with gas when they responded to a fire there Monday morning.

The Monday fire caused minor damage.

Firefighters say both fires are suspicious, but it's not clear yet if they're connected.

There are no suspects at this point.

Firefighters have responded to the house multiple times this year.
Parkersburg Firefighters are investigating a fire at a vacant house as suspicious.

They say it's the third fire there in a matter of months.

It happened around 3 Monday morning at 13 1/2 and Spring Streets.

Firefighters say flames were showing on the back side of a vacant house when they arrived.

They put it out in just minutes.

Firefighters say they did find a bottle in the windowsill filled with gas.

This is the third time in a matter of months firefighters have responded to a fire at this house.

Firefighters say the fire never got inside the house - it only damaged the window.

It is under investigation.

There are no suspects at this point.
