Two Sentenced in August Drug Bust

Two people are sentenced after investigators say they sold marijuana out of a Spring Street home.

Charged with possession with the intent to deliver and manufacturing of a controlled substance, Donald R. Stephens is sentenced to one to five years on each charge.

He will serve his time on home confinement.

Charged with maintaining a dwelling for selling a controlled substance, Tosha Deal is sentenced to one year of probation.

An arrest warrant leads Parkersburg Police to an indoor pot bust.

Tuesday morning, police were serving the warrant at an apartment in 1300 block of Spring Street.

During a walk through of the apartment, an officer attempted to open a closet & Donald Stephens attacked him.

Stephens was tasered and hancuffed.

Inside the closet officers found approximately 40 suspected marijuana plants worth about 75 hundred dollars.

Stephens and Tosha Anna Deal were both arrested and charged with manufacturing a controlled substance.

Both posted bond and were released.
