Parkersburg resident Tasha Compton is accused of shoplifting at the local Walmart on the south side of town.
Police arrested Compton for felony Grand Larceny.
Officers say Compton filled a shopping cart and her purse with nearly 80 different items, then left the store without paying.
Those items were worth more than $1,000.
Loss prevention personnel say they witnessed the crime.
Compton was arraigned in Wood County Magistrate Court and released on $5,000 bond.
She faces up to 10 years in prison.
