A project later this week will shut off the water for several hours on Harmar Hill in Marietta.
Marietta's water department says there will be three new water valves installed Thursday in the Harmar Hill water distribution system.
Work starts at 8 a.m.
Water will be off for four to six hours.
After it's turned back on there will a boil water advisory in effect for 24 hours.
Also, Bartlett Street will be closed to traffic during the project.
The following areas are affected:
Lancaster St. from Barlett St. to Clark St.
Pearl Street Extension
