At about 2:30 Tuesday afternoon Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force agents along with local law enforcement conducted surveillance in Williamstown.
Agents saw Jessica Handshumacher in a car. She's a wanted fugitive out of Washington County and a target of U.S. Marshals.
Agents followed the car to Williamstown where Handshumacher parked the car with her husband in the passenger seat.

A K-9 positively identified drugs in the vehicle. Agents found heroin and more than $1,600 in cash in the car.
Police arrested both Jessica and Alex Handshumacher for possession with the intent to deliver heroin.
Jessica Handshumacher is also charged with being a fugitive from justice.
Both face 1-15 years in prison for the heroin charges. Jessica is awaiting extradition to Ohio for her other charge.
Both are in the Wood County Holding Facility waiting to be arraigned.
