A man's motion for new counsel was denied in court Friday.

Frederick Charlton is accused of breaking into a home and hitting a woman back in October of last year.

Charlton, of Parkersburg, was arrested for burglary and malicious wounding.

Police say he broke into a house on Camden Avenue, fracturing a woman's face.

His trial is still set for December 10th.

Pre-trial motions began Tuesday morning for a man accused of burglary and malicious wounding.

In October of last year, Frederick Charlton of Parkersburg was arrested for burglary and malicious wounding.

His trial's been continued until December 10.
