Ohio Department of Transportation says repairs are scheduled to last three days finishing up on Wednesday, August 21.

They say that section of the road will be blocked off but the ramps will still be open. So for local traffic, the bridge will still be open for those traveling from Marietta but then drivers will be forced onto the off ramp onto Gilman Ave.

Those traveling from Rt. 7 towards Marietta will be forced onto the off ramp onto Gilman Ave. then to the Putnam St. Bridge.

ODOT's Official Detour is I-77 to WV U.S. 50 W then back to SR 7.
