Volunteers spend their Saturday afternoon helping to make the winter a little more bearable for some across the Valley. It's the Senior Wheels Pit Stop!

It's National Make a Difference Day, and that's exactly what RSVP and Washington State Community College joined to do.

Seniors across the area were invited to the WSCC automotive garage for a free automobile winterization. Over 50 were served.

Seniors brought in their car and then were offered food and coffee along with a checklist of everything that was done and what might still need a check up. They also received coupons to local auto shops.

Students from the W-S-C-C automotive program donated their time and services along with many from RSVP. The day was also funded by the college, RSVP, and a Serve Ohio grant.
