We could have school cancellations Friday throughout our area.
And that worries two districts that already missed days this winter.
West Virginia and Ohio each have five calamity days - days schools are allowed to miss before they have to make them up.
Two school districts already have plans in place to do that.
Warren Local has missed two days and Noble Local has missed more.
"It's been kind of an uncommon winter so far," says Dan Leffingwell, Superintendent of Noble Local Schools. "We've been hit a lot harder than we've been in the last couple of years. We have missed three days already."
Of the West Virginia school systems only Pleasants County has had to miss a day so far this winter due to the weather, but that could change Friday.
