Two families in Spencer are without a home Saturday night after a fire claims two houses.
The call came in around four Saturday afternoon to the 300 block of High Street.
Two houses were on fire. They do not believe anyone was in the house at the time.
The Spencer Police say one house is completely burnt to the ground with the neighboring house most likely a complete loss as well.
Spencer- Roane Fire Department received help from Clover and Reedy Volunteer Fire Departments.
Firefighters are still on the scene and they are investigating a cause.
