Many in Marietta took advantage of the sunny weather Saturday morning by taking part in the Spring Forward 5K Run and Walk.
The River City Runners and Walkers Club put on the event.
Over 200 participants ran or walked the bike trails at East Muskingum Park.
There was also a school challenge encouraging all kids to come out and take part in the race.
More than 13 area elementary schools competed for the spring forward championship school.
"It's such a great support from the entire community, we're blessed with an awesome day here today. It really means a lot to us and we really just encourage to see so many kids out here moving," says Spring Forward 5K Run and Walk Race Director, Vince Strollar.
All proceeds will go to the St. Mary Athletic Boosters Club.
