ST. MARYS, W.Va. (AP) - A program in St. Marys has inmates helping grow fresh fruits and vegetables.

They have grown nearly 6,000 pounds of produce this year as part of the state's Harvest Now program.

The prison gave about 4,500 pounds of produce to Mountaineer Food Bank.

Then they used another 1,500 pounds to provide fresh food to inmates during the growing season.
