Making a New Year's resolution is one thing.
And sticking with it can be difficult to accomplish.
But for Drake and Lacey Stephens, they're doing everything they can to reach their goals.
"I just make it a lifestyle change. me and my wife both support each other, we motivate each other. When we don't feel like coming to the gym, we push each other to come," says Drake Stephens.
Anytime Fitness in Parkersburg, where the Stephens workout, offers opportunities for them to stay focused on their resolutions.
"One thing that we have to help our members, you know to keep their goals, is first of all we have personal trainers, we also have exercise psychologists and registered dietitians to help you keep on track," added Mischa Johnson of Anytime Fitness.
The Stephens aren't the only ones accomplishing their goal at the gym.
"Well, I had a heart attack, I had four back surgeries, I got diabetes and I try to workout about four times a week," Bill Culen replied.
"For me, I try to set personal goals and keeping a good routine, that way I'm staying focus at all times," said Derek Wenzel.
For the Stephens, working out in a comfortable setting motivates them to never lose focus on staying fit for the new year.
"Everyone's friendly, it's not overly crowded, plenty of space, it's a good atmosphere," says Stephens.
In order to accomplish your resolution at the gym, dedication and hard work is key.
Stephens said that he and his wife have a goal set to participate in a five-mile run.
Anytime Fitness is open 24 hours, seven days a week, including holidays.
