Running for a cause. Nearly a hundred lace up their shoes for a 5k, to raise money for a woman battling breast cancer.
They call it,Team Stephanie.
Stephanie Sydenstricker was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer in 2007 then again recently she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Now her family and friends put on a run to raise awareness and money for Stephanie and her family.
"It's awesome, it definitely shows how a community can come together and support each other," explains Stephanie's sister and one of the organizers, Carrie Antill.
Top finishing runners got a cash prize.
Also, donated items were sold as well as food and music!
