Two are arrested after a theft investigation led to meth chemicals on Friday.
The Marietta Police Department says it started as an investigation into fraudulent coupons being used at Marietta gas stations.
Through surveillance video officers were able to track the people down to the Comfort Inn on Pike Street.
In a hotel room, investigators say they found Connor Brice and Stephen Richards, along with the fake coupons, the gift cards bought and some weapons.
Then in a back pack police say there were all the items to make meth.
Brice and Richards, both from Texas, face charges of theft and illegal possession of chemicals for making drugs.
