The valley's newest electronics and appliance store officially opened its doors for business.
H.H. Gregg's newest store at Grand Central Mall held its official grand opening Thursday.
The store's management tells us the Parkersburg area is a market it wanted to get into for quite some time.
"Since some of our competitors have left the industry, we've definitely been targeting this area for a while," said store General Manager Brandon Valandingham. "I think people are really responding to our level of customer service and our commitment to them."
A ribbon-cutting, featuring the mayors of Parkersburg and Vienna, preceeded the store's opening.
And H.H. Gregg has been around a lot longer than you think.
According to its website, the national chain opened its first store back in 1955, a single store in Indianapolis.
