Three Daytime Burglaries in Williamstown

Updated: Tue 2:38 PM, Nov 06, 2012

Three daytime burglaries in Williamstown last week but the more alarming part-- witnesses watched it all happen without calling 9-1-1.

The Williamstown Police Department says last week they found three houses broken into... with medicine, cash, and electronics all taken.

One of those burglaries was forced entry through the back door while the two others simply just went in through unlocked doors. Police say witnesses have been able to provide descriptions though.

The Police and Mayor Jean Ford urge everyone to lock their doors anytime of the day that they aren't home.

Also they ask for anyone noticing any suspicious activity or someone unfamiliar in the neighborhood to contact police. They say it's about being proactive in protecting your community.
