Trick or treat comes early for kids in Williamstown.

And police are urging parents to collect candy with their little goblins the safe way.

The Williamstown High School Scholarship Honors group will be out patrolling crosswalks.

Williamstown Police will also be at various neighborhoods throughout the city to ensure people are having fun and staying safe while trick or treating.

Officers urge parents to only take their kids to houses with lit porch lights and never go into someone's home they don't know.

Trick or treat is being held in Williamstown Saturday from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
